We value diversity because it provides us with a unique perspective for each of our next client.
At Unex, we have worked with many organizations coming from a wide range of industries. And our expertise and services are not only supporting the private sector. There is also a growing demand for Competitive Intelligence in the public sector as well.
In which industry or sector do our clients operate? It varies tremendously. In general however, they all share 2 points in common: they have a competitive character and the environment they compete on is by itself highly competitive. We have served organizations in the following sectors:
- Business Services (Legal, Accounting, etc.)
- Consumer services (Telecom, Insurance, etc.)
- Consumer goods (Food, Apparels, etc.)
Our clients tend to be SME and large organizations. They also tend to be competing at least on a national level. Why? Because they have reached a managerial maturity rarely observed by small organizations or startups. However, we have seen small structures ripe for CI.
- Private investors or small investment holdings
- NGO in a highly competitive environment
- Startups coming from a managerial or corporate environment
What (and whom) we say no to
Over the years, we have come to appreciate the value of saying no to certain clients. When we see a discrepancy or too big of a gap between managerial objectives and internal capabilities, we just say no. When clients objectives ask us to venture in the realm of Industrial Espionnage, we say no. We will do what we have to do, so long as it is legal and deemed ethical by our industry standards.
